Miranda Kaye

Miranda Kaye, Ph.D., is currently an assistant professor of exercise and sport sciences at Ithaca College. Her research focuses largely on motivation, especially in achievement settings, as well as on the antecedents and consequences of this behavior. Her work has appeared in a number of publications, including the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, Journal of Rational-Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Athletic Insight, and International Journal of Physical Education. Dr. Kaye was a 2011 recipient of the Institute of Coaching publication grant for her work examining the effects of wellness coaching on healthy behaviors and health outcomes.
