Darryl Cross coaches leaders at all levels and has a wide range of experience in personal and leadership development. He has also developed expertise in career coaching having authored two career tests.
With over 16 years of international experience as an executive and personal coach, Darryl is very much about developing an individual`s strengths and talents to be their best as well as utilising the principles of emotional intelligence to communicate effectively and facilitate relationships both business and personal.
Darryl is a clinical and organizational psychologist and is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Institute of Management. He is also a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He completed his doctoral research in Psychology at the University of Queensland and is a graduate of the College of Executive Coaching, Pismo Beach, California.
Previously, Darryl worked as a vocational psychologist with the federal government, lectured in psychology for 10 years at the University of Queensland and Macquarie University in Sydney and was a sessional lecturer in Leadership Dynamics for the MBA program at the University of South Australia. He is now a sessional lecturer with Torrens University in Dynamic Leadership as part of their MBA Program. For the past 25 years, he has conducted his own psychology and coaching practice.
Darryl has published numerous academic articles as well as articles for the popular press and has self-published books such as "The Dark Clouds at Work," "Stopping Self-Sabotage" and "In Pursuit of Success and Happiness."
