"Through the art of coaching, I empower individuals to contribute to making the world a better place. My joy is helping clients explore at a deeper level who they truly are, what inspires them in life, and how to live in a way that is most connected to their core values by focusing on the NOW. My favorite questions to ask are: 'Why are you alive?' and 'What are your gifts?'" ~ Vanya Koonce

With more than 15 years of extensive education and experience in organizational psychology, human resources, adult development, and entrepreneurship, Vanya Koonce draws on a wide range of coaching skills and business acumen.

For the past decade, she has worked with giants like Google, and Amazon as well as smaller start-ups and scale-ups, dozens of international clients-including marketers, writers, fashion designers, performing artists, executives, and students at various stages of their careers. She says: "it's hard to pick a favorite." In general, she loves working with people and teams, seeking tools to be more effective where they are and, at the same time, thrive for bigger and better.
Her excellent coaching reputation and development of the AgilGoals software app led Vanya to be invited by the Jobs, Vision, Success SoCal (JVS, SoCal) of Los Angeles to empower women as a mentor in their popular WoMentoring program. Also, she frequently volunteers with various NGOs to provide access to coaching to less privileged populations.
At the beginning of 2018th, she joined the Board of Directors for the International Coaching Federation Orange County Chapter as a Director of Programming, intending
to raise the bar of ethics and regulations in coaching. Ever since she joined the chapter, there has been a tremendous positive impact on the community, which led her among hundreds of applicants as a finalist for the nomination of the Yearly Award for 2019 Young Leader ICF.

She is a passionate advocate of evidence-based coaching practices and an official partner for Coaching and Mentoring International, David Clutterbuck. Vanya is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation with extensive hands-on training from the high esteemed ADLER-Faculty of Professional Coaching Certification program in Toronto, Canada. She has a Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology. A certified Scrum Master, and Mentor Coach Practitioner, she also earned a Certificate in Human Resources from UCLA, studied Psychodrama Therapy, and trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques. The list of credentials doesn't end here, as she is committed to a life-long learning journey. You can learn what clients think about her by reviewing her LinkedIn profile here:
