Dr. Pamela Larde is a certified life coach and associate professor of qualitative research at Mercer University. As an REI Council Member & Institute of Coaching fellow, Dr. Larde is committed to engaging in the work of advancing the reach and commitment of the coaching profession to further serve and build up leaders of color around the world. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, and a Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University. Her research focuses on race and gender dynamics, self-motivation, joy resilience, and posttraumatic growth. Additionally, she has written three books, has contributed chapters to scholarly publications, and presents her research extensively for national and international audiences.
As an entrepreneurial leader, Dr. Larde is the founder and president of the Academy of Creative Coaching, an ICF and SHRM accredited coach training and certification school that serves individuals and organizations across the globe wishing to elevate their skills and credibility around coaching, leadership, and cultural competency. She is also the founder and president of Tandem Light Press, a publishing company, where her team is committed to publishing award-winning life and world-changing books written for women and by women.
