Austin Matzelle, the User Experience Researcher at the Institute of Coaching is a graduate from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. His interest in psychology mainly lies in identity development, emotion regulation, and baseline happiness theory. This psychological background, along with professional experience in user experience helps Austin in external research for the Institute of Coaching, along with internal research to enhance the experience individuals have when interacting with the IOC’s content.
Austin has extensive experience in psychology and user experience research through his academic and professional work. He is currently working on contract with Microsoft as part of their Xbox Research Team. His work is focused on expanding the research for the Institute of Coaching in areas of social psychology and health coaching, along with promoting further user experience research for patrons.
