Tom Loncar

Tom Loncar is an executive coach, writer and founder of GrowGRAVITAS® – a consultancy fostering psychological flexibility in leadership development. Based in Sydney Australia, he works with senior executives, leadership teams and high potentials across the Asia-Pacific. Tom has expanded on his experiences in leadership development over the last decade as a regular contributor to leading business and professional magazines that have included The Psychologist (magazine of The British Psychological Society), the Australian Financial Review, Boss Magazine and Governance Directions. He was first introduced to Acceptance and Commitment Training and psychological flexibility through peer coaching eight years ago, and has examined its application in organizational contexts in-depth through his MSc dissertation with King’s College London.

Prior to establishing his executive coaching practice in 2014, Tom had 25 years of experience in strategic research consulting and in economic research/policy. His consulting roles included principal and co-owner of Eureka Strategic Research (sold to global consultancy Ipsos in 2007), Executive Director of Ipsos MediaCT and Research Director of Hall & Partners. He has also had a long side career as a musician, most notably as lead singer of the Intercontinental Playboys band. Tom holds a Master of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of New South Wales).
