Chad Murphy is currently a PhD candidate in Management and Organization at Penn State University. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Brigham Young University and the University of Chicago, respectively. His research interests center on identity work and legitimacy in organizations, professions, and occupations. Using qualitative methods, Chad is writing a dissertation on the identity and image-based issues faced by health and wellness coaches.
