Many professional fields which cross-over with coaching practice, or may even be considered “cousins” of coaching have requirements for ongoing supervision as part of a professional development plan.

In Australia, for example, AHPRA, the registration body for Psychologists requires 10 hours annually of peer supervision. The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) has an identical requirement.

There is no current expectation of or even standard for supervision in coaching. Should such a requirement exist?

We warmly invite you to join this roundtable discussion during which you will be able to explore in conversation with your colleagues your own understanding of supervision; experiences of supervision you may have had; how supervision may be supportive of increasing maturity of practice and your ideas about creating a standard within the field of coaching.

Discussion Around:

  1. Developing a Culture of Supervision in Coaching
  2. The future of coaching supervision and its role in leadership development
  3. Share insights on emerging trends in coaching supervision
