Margaret Moore and Carol Kauffman will explore the topic of integration, from the perspectives of self-determination theory, mindsight (Dan Siegel), leadership (leader’s shadow), and well-being.

What is integration?

Integration involves connecting to and integrating new ideas, thoughts, and perspectives. One type of integration is a moment of insight. Insight is defined as “a sudden understanding that solves a problem or reinterprets a situation, but, due to its immediacy, seems to be disconnected from the immediately preceding thought.”

Margaret Moore
Margaret Moore

Margaret Moore, MBA (aka Coach Meg) is a co-founder and past chair (2021-2024) of the Institute of Coaching. She is an executive coach (mainly healthcare and biotech leaders), coach trainer, author, and coaching thought leader. Margaret co-founded and was a course director of the Coaching in Leadership & Healthcare conference organized by the Institute of Coaching, McLean, and Harvard Medical School from 2008-2024.

Carol Kauffman

Carol is the Founder of the Institute of Coaching with Margaret Moore and Susan David.
 
She is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Visiting Professor at Henley Business School and a Senior Leadership Advisor at Egon Zehnder. In 2009 she received a gift from the Harnisch Foundation for $2,000,000 to launch the IOC and we are now a community of over 20,000. 

She is known globally as one of the top leaders in the field of coaching. Thinkers 50 shortlisted her as one of the top 8 coaches in the world for her contribution to thought leadership and coach. With over 40,000 hours of client contact she is described as a lateral thinker who pushes the edges with a sense of humor and can disrupt people out of their comfort zone. Her client roster included many CEOs of Fortune 100 and FTSE 100 and their teams.
