March 31, 2023
09:00am to 06:00pm CEST
Location:
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

This full-day interactive dialogue session will be co-hosted by Jeffrey Hull, Executive Director of the IOC, and Hetty Brand-Boswijk, Director of Coaching at RSM.  We are excited to bring together an invite-only group of senior coaches from around the world --  leading scholars and practitioners in the coaching space -- to engage in conversations on the field’s future.

Our day together will be held on campus at the Rotterdam School of Management's beautiful business school space.  Our special guest, Dr. David Drake, will be leading deep dive discussions into how we can advance the current practices utilized for coach development and assessment.

The outcome of our work together will be published along with a final version of the series of articles by Dr. Drake, in collaboration with the Institute of Coaching.  Below is a summary of the themes we will engage in together (all attendees will receive preliminary papers on the subjects below, in advance):

  1. Surveying the landscape of the coaching profession: Research findings, field observations, and emerging demands
  2. Using an evidence-based framework for integrative development as a more systemic approach
  3. Introducing the "Five Maturities Framework" as a new paradigm
  4. Experiencing "Five Practices" to support maturation and mastery
  5. Exploring the implications for coaching and coach education, certification, and accreditation
