Webinar: Coaching in the 4th Industrial Revolution: Helping STEMM Leaders Flourish

Helping STEMM Leaders Flourish
July 28, 2020 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Developing and coaching leaders from STEMM fields has never been more crucial, and yet it can be incredibly challenging. As the 4th Industrial Revolution (4th IR) unfolds, leaders need to harness emerging technologies for greater innovation, productivity, and prosperity. Leaders are also grappling with global risks such as the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change disasters, and large-scale cyberattacks.

Coaches are in the ideal position to help STEMM leaders develop the necessary capabilities to lead more effectively and flourish. Coaches can play a pivotal role by helping “build bridges” between diverse thinking styles within organisations to create high value, cognitively diverse teams. Based on the respected business & management book, Scientists in Every Boardroom: Harnessing the Power of STEMM Leaders in an Irrational World, this webinar will provide coaches, and business and HR leaders with an introduction to a cohesive and easy to understand framework for developing and coaching STEMM leaders to help them become more effective and flourish.

In this interactive webinar you will learn to:

  • Identify and work with “the good, the bad and the interesting” of coaching STEMM leaders against the new backdrop of today’s high-tech era.
  • Develop an understanding of the 7 umbrella modules of the SCIENCE of Leadership framework and how to apply them when coaching STEMM leaders and their teams for better organisational outcomes.
  • Based on real-life coaching examples, identify, and manage the biases preventing high value, cognitively diverse teams from solving today’s wicked problems.
