Event: Coaching health professionals in disruptive times: Designing, implementing and sustain coaching programs and practices

The Institute of Coaching is hosts a panel discussion on the topic of Coaching health professionals in disruptive times. The coronavirus pandemic has been very demanding for healthcare professionals, working directly in COVID-19 treatment, as well as in other specialties. Many hospitals and practitioners are establishing programs and working with external and internal coaches to offer coaching during the acute phase of the pandemic. They are also are considering approaches for coaching in the months following that phase, when the impact will be processed by the health professionals and the situation will be uncertain. The panel brings together programs and professionals who highlight best practices in coaching healthcare providers, and discuss the specific aspects of coaching in the current epidemiological situation. Panelist also discuss their work in this area, including:

  • describing programs and practices they have designed, adapted and implemented
  • specifics of coaching healthcare professionals during critical times
  • recommendations for coaching in the upcoming months
  • developing collaborations among coaches in the healthcare field.
