Sandra Julia Schiemann received her Master of Science in Psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University (LMU) in Munich, writing her master thesis about "Shared Reality“ in cooperation with the University of Oxford. She is a certified Career Coach (University of Salzburg, CoBeCe), Trainer for Social Competences (LMU Munich) and Mentor (LMU Munich, Center of Leadership and People Management). After working in the field “Coaching & Training” at startup centers and a business consultancy, Sandra has started her Ph.D. at the University of Salzburg in 2016, focussing her research on coaching within the context of social interaction (empathy, perspective-taking, trust, needs, and motives). During her PhD, she received several research grants (research grant of the University of Salzburg, Research Scholarship of the University of Salzburg, karriere_links sponsorship for female researchers), held various presentations on coaching at congresses (e.g., EAWOP), and published her first papers on coaching (e.g., DOI: 10.24384/000543). As a practitioner, she coaches university clients and holds trainings on coaching-related topics (e.g., coaching training, personal development, leadership development, social interaction, communication, empiric seminars for Bachelor or Master students) at the University of Salzburg, University Schloss Seeburg, and for businesses.
