Alexandra Durnford is an Executive Coach and mediator with over twenty years of experience in issues, crisis and reputation management. Alexandra’s coaching approach is based on her experience working with leaders and teams making decisions under intense professional and personal scrutiny. She is honest and direct whilst ensuring her clients feel supported and listened to. She is known for her calm, her warmth and her ability to swiftly build trust in situations where her clients may feel vulnerable.

Alexandra is very comfortable coaching around the complex issues of challenging behaviour and people management which, when resolved, enable her clients to become more effective, motivating and unifying leaders.

She combines her expertise in emotional intelligence, communication and conflict management to coach senior leaders on understanding how their style and behaviour positively and negatively impacts their sponsors, peers and teams. She is particularly experienced in working with leaders who are looking to develop their management style to appeal to an increasingly diverse group of stakeholders.

Alexandra qualified as a Business Coach with Meyler Campbell in 2014, prior to which she was a Board Director at Regester Larkin (now owned by Deloitte) where she advised international organisations in highly regulated industries (healthcare, energy and professional services) on issues and crisis management. She graduated in 1998 with an MA in English Literature from St Andrews University.
