Alfred Ramirez, President, Diverse Strategies Now  

Mr. Ramirez is a keynote speaker, trainer, and facilitator for public and private organizations, grades K-12, universities, and diverse communities. He develops leaders, businesses, diversity initiatives; culture change; and community engagement. He was President Clinton’s White House Associate Director of Presidential Personnel; Senior Advisor, for the Corporation for National Service; and Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics, at the U.S. Department of Education.He has been a Columbia University assistant director of admissions and minority recruitment, special assistant to Mayor Henry Cisneros of San Antonio, Texas, corporate recruiter/human resource specialist, managing director for INROADS Los Angeles, and director of a $2-million Mattel Foundation initiative for parents and community in schools. He has led diversity initiatives at ACT, been President of the Greater Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, Group O’s corporate Vice President of Supplier Diversity, and Director of Operations for the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI).

He was a Kellogg Fellow, National Urban Fellow, and a Hispanic Business Magazine's 100 Influential. He attended Columbia University as an undergraduate double-major in Political Science and Urban Studies, and Baruch College New York, graduate student in Public Administration. From East LA, California, he’s now in East Moline, Illinois.
