AVDH Coaching and Consulting was founded and is led by Andreas von der Heydt. Andreas’ background is in general management, HR, sales & marketing, product as well as learning & development. In the US, Europe, and Australasia. He held executive positions at Chewy, Amazon, and L´Oréal. He started his career with REWE, a leading European retailing group. As a passionate leadership expert, Andreas possesses comprehensive international working experience in E-Commerce, Technology, Consumer Goods, Retail, and Services. A main focus of Andreas is assisting others to succeed. He's a certified coach and master coach. Over the past two decades, Andreas trained and worked with some of the leading coaches in the world.

Andreas was a co-founder and head coach at Amazon Germany´s in-house Coaching Program and a founding member of L´Oréal's Mentoring Program. Over the past 20 years, Andreas had the pleasure to coach more than 1,000 executives, leaders, start-up entrepreneurs, and young professionals. Both as internal & external coach. He coaches in 1o1 and group coaching settings. Based on the belief that everyone carries all resources in order to grow and to be successful. His coaching approach is progressive, evidence-based, empathetic, and strongly goal-oriented. In his spare-time, he coaches & mentors on a pro bono basis members of disadvantaged & underprivileged groups.

Andreas studied business management and economics at Ludwigshafen Business School (Germany), in Salamanca (Spain), and in Nagoya (Japan). As a life-long learner he did an MBA at Henley Management School in the UK and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. His specialization is on organizational leadership and learning to help building high-performing organizations and fulfilled teams. He's a native German who speaks English, French, Spanish, and some Japanese.

His latest book, which has been released in December 2021, is about how organizations can create a Coaching Culture. Andreas enjoys blogging on LinkedIn on multiple topics. He's actively supporting and working with various charity organizations. His mantra is that life is about living, loving, learning, and helping others.
