I have an MSc(Hons) in Applied Psychology (Industrial & Organizational) and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. I am the Director of the Master in Health Leadership Program at the University of Auckland and teach courses on Health Leadership and Strengthening Health Systems. My research interests include health leadership, developmental workplace relationships (mentoring and coaching), and health coaching to support patient self-management. I formerly taught on the Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Counseling at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia and was Director of the program 2014 to 2015. I am interested in coaching individuals at various points of the leadership pipeline in healthcare, including frontline professionals, team, organizational  and system leaders.
