Dr. April Hirschberg is board certified in both adult psychiatry and lifestyle medicine. She completed her residency in adult psychiatry at the MGH/ McLean Combined Psychiatry Program in 2006 and has since remained on staff in the MGH Department of Psychiatry first in the Center for Women’s Mental Health and later in the MGH Cancer Center. She completed the Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) Certification with the MGH Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine. She is also certified as a Health and Well-being Coach by the Wellcoaches School of Coaching. She is also board certified in Lifestyle Medicine and active in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is an Instructor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and works as a Staff Psychiatrist, Part-time at MGH. She currently offer Mind Body/SMART programs for cancer survivors and individuals @ high risk for cancer at the MGH Cancer Center. She has also offered Mind Body resiliency programs and physician coaching for her colleagues at MGB as part of the MGB-MD Thrive group. She recently launched a private practice offering Lifestyle & Mind Body Medicine consultation and coaching @ Mind Body Health Partners, LLC.
