I am a Registered Nurse and Mental Health Nurse working in Queensland Australia. I completed an MBA in 2008 from Curtin University, Perth Western Australia, which sparked my interest in leadership development and culture change. I have completed coach training at Open door coaching in Melbourne in 2008. I have provided coaching and clinical supervision over the past 10 years to nurses. I have just started offering coaching services to non-government organizations and other businesses through my part-time business. I have accumulated 7,000 hrs in coaching. I have previously offered coaching and coach training for clinical staff to assist in building a high performing team and promoting positive culture change within a healthcare environment. I have worked in a range of leadership roles within health and have a passion for developing clinicians to achieve their career goals and to perform at their best.
I am currently a PhD student at James Cook University, and my research aims to explore coaching in nursing practice, "A Case Study of A Professional Coaching Model in clinical nursing practice".
