Deb Crossland is the Enterprise Executive Coach for Providence Health & Services, a Catholic Health Care organization with 64,000 employees, serving communities from Alaska to California. Deb holds a BSN and Master of Nursing degree; she has over 20 years’ experience in executive leadership development and coaching. Deb joined Providence Health Systems, Central Washington Service Area in 1989 as Director of Learning Services, where she developed a new manager orientation program, Category 1 CME program and the Health Information Center. Deb became Director of Organizational Development for Providence Health Systems, Central Washington Service Area in 1998. In 2001, Deb was promoted to a Regional OD position serving Washington and Montana ministries. She was responsible for overseeing Organizational Development Services, Management Development and Training, Staff Development and employee engagement. Deb managed the regional training team and facilitated executive and physician leadership development through learning teams, workshops, coaching, and individual development plans; she also facilitated retreats and team learning sessions for other diverse groups. She has been integrally involved with the change management and cultural integration strategies when other health care organizations have affiliated with Providence. Her latest work is the “Manager’s Guide to Values-Based Decision-Making.” In 2012 she was appointed the Enterprise Executive Coach with oversight for external and internal coaching for the organization. Deb is a Certified Coach through the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA); she is also an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. Deb is certified in Personalysis, Crucial Conversations, Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Organizational Analysis and Design, Six Sigma CAP, Lominger Career Architect, Select Interview, Organization Transitions, Hogan, and DDI. She is a member of the Pacific Northwest HR Strategic Network, Society Human Resource Management and Institute of Coaching Professional Association (ICPA).
