Dr. Denise Garcia Simpson was born and raised on the Texas-Mexico border in Laredo, Texas. She went on to pursue a career in leadership across multiple disciplines. 

With a formal business administration and leadership education, Dr. Garcia Simpson serves leaders and their organizations in various capacities, such as organizational behavior consultant, leadership trainer, and Executive Coach.

With a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies, she researches the intersectionality of the leader-follower dyad, neuroscience, and coaching psychology. 

She has formal certifications in coaching from International Coaching Federation, The Life Coach School, and The Neuroscience Academy. 

She is also CEO of Simpson Strategies and Founder of the Masters of Leadership Institute, a leadership research and training program where she supports her clients on their leadership journey.
