Dr. Gena Cox is an organizational psychologist, executive coach, speaker, and author. She advises executives on building and leading inclusive workplace cultures that work for all employees, not just a lucky few. And she works with a select group of leaders as their executive coach.

Gena frames her advice within the context of devolving employee workplace expectations for the future of work. This future-in-the-making workplace will include dramatic shifts in how power, influence, and access will function in organizations; leaders will need new behaviors. Gena believes that leader success in the future will depend, to a great degree, upon their ability to build diverse and inclusive organizations.

Gena's book, to be published in 2022, is for business leaders who want to build inclusive organizational cultures, but are unsure how to drive change that employees can see and feel.

Gena is active in the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Fortune, the BBC, Chief Learning Officer (CLO), The Telegraph (UK), Architectural Digest, Vice, and other national and international publications. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.

She has lived in England and Barbados but calls Clearwater home. She enjoys riding her bike in local parks and boating in Tampa Bay.
