Gerard Cox, PhD, and Associates
Jerry Cox, Principal, is an experienced, results-oriented Organization Development Consultant and Executive Coach with over thirty years of experience. He studied organizational behavior at the Harvard Business School and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. After receiving a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Organizational Behavior from Harvard University, he was a senior consultant in the Department of Leadership and Organization Development at the McBer/Hay Group, where he remained for five years before establishing his own consulting practice.

What We Do
We use state of the art strategies and technologies to assist clients to achieve increased levels of individual and organizational performance. Our services include:
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We support organizations in their efforts to create inclusive environments in which every employee is afforded opportunities to realize his/her talents, contribute to the success of the enterprise and feel respected. Our initiatives include climate surveys, focus groups, recruitment and retention strategies, training which increase the abilities of managers and supervisors to lead multicultural teams, improve employees' abilities to communicate with each other across racial, ethnic, religions, gender and other boundaries which have frequently caused divisiveness and conflicts.
Executive Coaching. Our engagements usually begin with a 360-degree feedback process and use of tools such as Emotional Intelligence Quotient Inventories. Information obtained usually identifies opportunities for improvement or development goals. Those goals become the criteria against which success is measured.
Team Building. Following a comprehensive assessment of team functioning, we design programs that build higher performance by focusing on increased attention to achieving results, improved conflict resolution, enhanced interpersonal communication, higher trust, and the ability to hold team members accountable for workgroup success.
Change Management and Strategic Planning. We apply best practices, such as Balanced Scorecard, interviews, focus groups and surveys that assist organizations to plan, execute, and evaluate short-and long-term planned change. Our engagements include resources and training in change management skills that increase organizational capabilities and capacity.
