Dr. Jennifer Lee (Lee-Summers) is the Senior Associate Dean for Women in Science and Medicine and a Professor of Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University. She is an executive leadership and professional development coach, a pediatric anesthesiologist, and a scientist in developmental brain injury.

Jenny founded the Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Initiative (WELI) within the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia. WELI supports women’s career development through advising, facilitated networking, career development workshops, and sponsorship. WELI has more than 200 members from more than 70 participating hospitals in the United States and Canada. (weli.pedsanesthesia.org/) WELI also has a chapter in Australia and New Zealand.
