Kirsten Welles is Director of Wellness Integration at The Akasha Center for Integrative Medicine in Santa Monica, California. Kirsten is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master`s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from The Emporer`s College in Los Angeles, California. She is also a Registered Polarity Practitioner through the American Polarity Therapy Association.

In addition, Kirsten is a certified coach and teacher with Mary Manin Morrisey`s Life Solutions. In her clinical practice, Kirsten partners with physicians and patients to create a coherent wellness plan, which is informed by the patient`s personal vision and intent for a positive outcome. Patients apply this process either as adjunct therapy for a specific protocol (such as surgery or chemotherapy) or as a foundational piece for their overall healthcare.

Kirsten is also the co-author with Gary B. Strauss of Clinical Energetics, a curriculum designed to help practitioners recognize and resource the healing potential between patient and practitioner in the clinical setting. Classes in Clinical Energetics are taught at The Emporer`s College in Los Angeles and at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.
