I'm an organizational psychologist (and a former practicing lawyer.) I specialize in the psychology of lawyers. Through my company, LawyerBrain LLC, I help the leadership teams in law firms and corporate law departments with management issues such as developing leaders, getting lawyers to work in teams (even though they don't usually like to do so), building engagement of the workforce, resolving friction and other forms of dysfunctional behavior, selecting and hiring, assessment and feedback, and building psychological resilience and lawyer well-being. I've spent the past several decades gathering thousands of sets of personality data on lawyers, which I use to tailor my consultations to this unique clientele. As a native of Philadelphia, the birthplace of Positive Psychology, I have been immersed in this powerful, growing field since 2007, and use PP principles to guide my work.
