After graduating with a bachelors degree in humanities and social sciences from UMass Dartmouth, I spent 18 years working for a family business. Over that time, I wondered frequently what else I could be, should be, doing with my life.  In 2012, the realization hit me hard – I was not living a happy, fulfilling professional life.  Not only did my job not define me, excite me, or light me up, I was feeling depleted as each day passed.  When I finally decided it was time to leave and start a new career, it was extremely difficult to leave my family behind.  I struggled with the guilt, but I knew in my core I was meant to do something else with my life. The time had come for me to step out of my comfort zone and to connect to what I really was meant to do with my life.  I took a leap of faith in January, 2013, and moved on with no idea what the future held for me, however, a life happens, a week after my last day, I had found the coaching profession and signed up for the complete training and certification program from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI.) On July 1, 2014, I became a Certified Professional CoActive Coach (CPCC) and I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation.   I am extremely proud to say I am now living a life of purpose by supporting those looking to do the same.
