As a Developmental Psychologist and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I help ambitious professionals optimize their response to stress using science-backed strategies.
Before I became a coach, like many Americans, I was working long hours in a very demanding job. Unfortunately, I was also mismanaging my stress, eating lots of junk food, not exercising, sleeping poorly, and not having any fun. I didn't realize it at the time but I was unwittingly trading my well-being, health, and relationships for career success!
Fortunately, I enrolled in a wellness class offered through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine where I learned about an integrative approach to health. I was so impressed by the scientific research supporting an integrative approach that I made several lifestyle changes.
After several months of concerted effort, I began to feel inspired, calm, connected, rested, and productive again. I was so happy with my lifestyle changes that I took my efforts to the next level and became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Now, I work with others to improve the quality of their lives, too.
I also have a PhD in Family Studies and Human Development. So, I bring a wealth of knowledge about the change process to my coaching practice.
