Margaret is the Principal of D’Onofrio Consulting Partners, a Houston based certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE). Through the Columbia Coaching Alliance which she co-founded, Margaret supports clients nationally and internationally. She works predominantly at senior organizational levels, including coaching “C” suite executives. She is passionate about developing high potential executives, especially women and minority groups who are under-represented in senior business roles and on boards of directors.
Key areas of expertise include understanding the challenges of achieving and maintaining optimal performance; overcoming executive derailment; identifying obstacles that prevent attainment of clients’ aspirations; and co-creating outcome-based strategies. Her specialty in the practical application of Emotional Intelligence theory forms a strong foundation for critical competency development, which in turn, helps people succeed in their professional and personal lives. Margaret`s ideal clients are those who step outside their comfort zone and embrace the challenges associated with learning, change and growth.
In a career that spans more than 25 years, Margaret has achieved notable success in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Her business background drives a results-orientated approach to executive coaching, providing clients a transformative leadership development experience.
Margaret is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds an Executive Coaching Certification from Columbia University. Her education includes advanced study in the area of human capital management and development; and the study of emotional intelligence with pioneers Daniel and Tara Goleman. She is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations (ICCO) and the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).
