Weston also provides professional medical groups and their practitioners with workshops and lectures at medical symposiums for ongoing education in using Health & Wellness Coaching with their patients to create the best whole-person/patient-centered care.

Weston is a firm believer in health & wellness coaching for people seeking to create lifestyle changes within each person’s behavior to lead to a better quality of life when living with a chronic condition. Certified coaches know that focusing on and strengthening a client’s education is an important step in self-care. She believes the road to deciding where, when, and how clients can bring change into their lives is collaborative. Weston believes in honoring a client’s “gut or intuition,” examining their life experience, and embracing insight-readiness to create changes in a person’s life path.

As an expert and audience in chronic conditions herself, Michele specializes in creating lifestyle shifts for people in medically managed weight-loss programs, including those exploring bariatric surgery and people diagnosed with chronic conditions who are seeking ways to integrate complementary/integrative practices along with their medical teams.

She’s a “connector,” and with the myriad of experts she has established, and can point her clients toward lifestyle strategy experts if they would like to explore using acupuncture, biofeedback, physical therapy, integrative nutrition, online and in-store grocery shopping, homeopathy, Pilates and yoga bodywork therapy, and stress management using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques from Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Michele can assist her clients with healthcare education and empower them, either the patient or the caregivers, to advocate for themselves and their loved ones. With an open heart, listening ear, humor, grace, and compassion, she can help you to bring together what YOU may need, want, or perhaps envision from your professional medical teams to achieve better whole-centered care and stronger patient/physician relationships. She guides patients in developing tools for success through the use of mindfulness food plan choices, exploring physical fitness goals, managing one's stress, meditation techniques, and ways to attain more mindful living by asking her clients more powerful questions that can unlock their own intuitive strengths for each person to begin to make more positive changes.

Weston believes that “it takes a village” of caring experts, and by blending biomedical professionals with integrative practitioners, we all can strengthen the patient/client relationship to ensure that dignity, accountability, respect, and compassion are addressed, first and foremost.
