Dr. Platzer is a development-oriented coach, facilitator, educator and systems thinker who emphasizes developing a coach approach and increasing our leadership capacities to transform our individual, team and system’s health.

As a well-published cancer researcher, Petra focused on identifying markers in signaling pathways leading to dysfunctional organs, resulting in unhealthy systems. In her leadership roles at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Platzer recognized this same process between individuals and teams and their impact to the organization. This ignited her passion for working with leaders and teams to co-create the healthy, interdependent signals needed to achieve their desired results.

With over 15 years of experience in the adult development, leadership and behavior change domains, Petra has successfully coached many individuals and teams to become more effective in their current roles, prepare for emerging roles and to increase team effectiveness via improved interaction dynamics. Knowing that every engagement is unique, Petra brings an analytical and evidence-based approach using strengths- and brain-based methodologies to support people creating the impact they want for themselves and those around them.

Dr. Platzer’s most successful clients are those ready to expand their self-awareness and explore additional mindsets and approaches to better meet their rapidly changing and increasingly complex environment, with less energy use and unintended results in the process.
