Roya Ostovar, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

She is the director of the Center for Neurodevelopmental Services (CNS) at McLean Hospital, an innovative program that provides services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and pschiatric disorders.

Dr. Ostovar is the Fellowship and Training Program Director of the Center for Neurodevelopment Services at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. In this capacity, she is in charge of the direct clinical supervision of fellows, interns, residents, and other trainees.

She is also the Director of Neuropsychology Services at the Lurie Center, a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to the treatment and study of autism spectrum disorders across the lifespan.

Dr. Ostovar is a clinical neuropsychologist with extensive experience and expertise in psychiatric and developmental disorders, particularly in children and teens. In addition, Dr. Ostovar has a subspecialty in leadership development, coaching, and consultation. She has served as a consultant to many individuals, programs, schools, and families on developing effective strength based programs that enhance performance and productivity.

Dr. Ostovar is the author of The Ultimate Guide to Sensory Processing Disorder, which received Creative Child Magazine's 2010 Preferred Choice Award in Parenting Aids-Special Needs-Sensory Processing category. She also wrote the chapter "An Overview of Adolescent Development" for Helping Your Troubled Teen, published by Fair Winds Press (2007).
