Steve Salee has over 20 years of experience as a coach, organizational consultant, and strategist.  Steve is particularly passionate about helping high-stakes teams and leaders in healthcare, law, media and the arts to work together effectively in service of quality outcomes.  He recognizes that the pace of change in the world of work exert additional pressures and make collaboration both more challenging and essential than ever. His work helps teams meet these challenges by overcoming divisions, building relationships and strengthening engagement. 

Steve has coached dozens of leaders and teams, including those in the fields of healthcare and hospital administration, law, media, the arts.  A sample of clients include New York City Health + Hospitals, UNICEF, The Jewish Board, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Conde Nast, The New York Times, Deutsche Bank, Kramer Levin, Cleary Gottlieb, Chadbourn and Parke.  

Steve’s coaching style is to engage the client or team in an active, practical, exploration of their values, strengths and opportunities for professional and personal growth. Using aspects of emotional intelligence and appreciative inquiry, Steve helps clients both design their desired state and also build the awareness, behaviors and structures necessary to get there, and also support the organization’s goals.  Steve is also conducting ongoing primary research on what makes healthcare team cultures healthy or toxic.
