As a marketing director for CTI, I am responsible for helping to plan, manage and execute marketing programs. I liaise with sales, product and departmental managers to establish requirements for marketing campaigns and manage programs. I also help to manage the rest of our marketing team and other marketing and advertising vendors to develop campaigns that support our marketing goals. I combine both tactical, hands-on and strategic activities as part of my regular day, and I shift gears with ease.
As Marketing Director, my roles and responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering tactical communications strategies in support of segment-specific campaigns, including product, regional, and partner-specific initiatives.
- Working with product managers, regional market development managers, and sales teams globally to produce campaign-specific and ad hoc marketing collateral and sales support assets (e.g. brochures, sales sheets, presentations, signage, white-papers, case studies, landing pages, email campaigns, social media ads).
- Collaborating with marketing peers in developing and delivering programs and tactics to support targeted demand generation objectives.
- Collaborating with sales team on initiatives aimed at moving opportunities through the sales pipeline using marketing automation.
- Collaborating with Business Systems and Technology teams to bring Marketing requirements to key projects such as Netsuite, Hubspot and WebDam.
- Managing the relationship with vendors such as Social Media agencies, outsourced design resources and Search Engine Optimization vendors and ensure our campaigns deliver on our marketing strategy.
- Contributing to the development of processes and procedures within the marketing department that improve accountability, effectiveness and engagement.
