Dr Timea Havar-Simonovich is the executive director Strategic Leadership GbR and combines management development and classical singing. Creator of the HAVAR CONCEPT©, a charisma development framework inspired by stage performing arts such as opera and theatre, she coaches leaders and delivers training to industry and consulting firms. Using unconventional methods, she marshals the emotional repertoire of the performing arts to enhance the communicative abilities and emotional intelligence of managers. Her coaching and training repertoire includes personal development, leadership coaching, organizational development, and – especially – voice training. Based in Germany, her clients are prestigious consulting firms (Roland Berger and OC&C) and industry corporations (including Bosch and EADS).
In her classical singing career she performed as a soloist in Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Stuttgart, Budapest and the USA. She conducted a number of choirs and appeared on major German TV channels. In addition to her classical singer and pedagogy degrees from the universities of music at Stuttgart and Dresden, she earned an MBA from ESB Business School in Reutlingen and a Diploma in Organizational Leadership from the Said Business School at Oxford University. She completed her doctorate of business administration (DBA) in Edinburgh dedicated to the transfer potential of the performing arts into managerial soft skills training and coaching. She has given lectures in the area of leadership and organizational behavior at ESB Business School, the Said Business School at Oxford University, INSEAD and other universities based in Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
She is a director of the International Institute of Strategic Leadership.
