He is on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Colorado Denver in the Business School, and the Faculty of the Institute for Social & Emotional Intelligence where he Instructs Coaching Certification courses. He is a certified Social & Emotional Intelligence Coach, Certified Conversational Intelligence Coach, and a Certified Change Facilitator with Experience Point, Ltd.
Virg has an M.S in Organizational Performance and a B.S. in Business Administration. He is certified on a number of assessment instruments such as the SEIP (Social & Emotional Intelligence Profile); LEA (Leadership Effectiveness Analysis); LPI (Leadership Practices Inventory), Hogan Personality Assessment, etc.

He is seasoned business executive with over 35 years business experience in Operations Management, Organizational Development, and Human Resources. His experience includes both domestic and international responsibilities with large multi-national; mid-size, and start-up businesses at Manufacturing, Division, and Corporate organizational levels.
He has over 20 years of experience in coaching executives, leaders, and managers both as an internal and as an external coach.
His focus is on helping leaders achieve individual and organizational performance results and personal growth and success. He helps leaders capitalize on their strengths and improve their developmental areas for maximum results. He works with established senior leaders as well as developing and high-potential leaders. Ultimately his focus in on the success of the individual and in turn the success of the organization.
As an Executive and Leadership Coach, Virg has worked with senior leaders and leadership teams in broad range of industries including manufacturing, mining and minerals, engineering & construction, software/hardware/IT, digital screens, healthcare, telecom, supply chain, medical equipment, financial services, non- profits, and university leadership.
Serving on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Colorado Denver, in the Business School for the past 12 years, Virg has taught several management and leadership courses to both Graduate and Undergraduate level students, including: Leading Organizational Change; Managing People For A Competitive Advantage; Organizational Development; Performance Management; and Talent Management.
Virg serves as the Faculty Advisor to the UCD SHRM student chapter. He is the Past Chair of the Colorado Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association and seven-year board member. Virg served in the US Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran.
