June 1, 2017 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
West Los Angeles

By popular request, the topic for our June session in Los Angeles will be neuroscience and coaching with a focus on application and your experiences with it. Participants can expect a facilitated dialogue with lots of opportunity to share experiences and resources from our respective learning and practice. Many of you are already quite familiar with this topic, some might be new to it, and all of us will no doubt find great value in digging deeper and exploring practical application and implications with this growing edge of our field.

June 21, 2017 - 1:00pm to 2:15pm

What if change has more to do with deepening our presence in the moment than developing our plans over time? What if people could more easily transfer what they learn in coaching into their life and work? This webinar provides an introduction to attachment theory and applied mindfulness as resources you can use to coach. These two bodies of work are at the core of narrative coaching, enabling us to coach with more grace and power. We can stop trying so hard to make things happen and focus instead on being courageously human with those we coach.

July 11, 2017 - 12:45pm to 2:00pm

We will explore a strengths-based model of multiplicity of mind, which can be considered an adult version of the Pixar movie, Inside Out. The mind is characterized as an inner family or team of nine parts, described in the new Harvard Health book, Organize Your Emotions, Optimize Your Life. The inner family maps to other personality models including Carl Jung’s cognitive processes, Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, and the Five-Factor personality model.

September 14, 2017 - 1:00pm to 2:15pm

The executive coaching field still suffers greatly from an “image problem” – many in the world do not understand what we do, and often confuse us with other less desirable occupations. Our profession must capture legitimacy in the world’s eyes. One solution? Measurement! Measuring the impact of coaching is simple, obtainable and even motivational for our clients. Learn about the 5 levels of measurement – including measuring ROI – and figure out how to put them into practice with your clients immediately.

October 11, 2017 - 8:30am to October 12, 2017 - 4:30pm
The Exchange Conference Center, Boston

CEOs and leaders tapped to be CEOs will share their biggest challenges and discuss how to be steady when the world is in chaos. They will talk to us, and to one another, to give us even deeper insights into our vital role as coaches. We will also get to see the current CEOs advise/coach the potential CEOs. Small group sessions will follow the panel presentations and we will be able to and ask them our powerful questions throughout the day.

October 18, 2017 - 9:00am to 10:15am

Neuroscience research has begun to ‘connect the dots’ on how the brain works and how brain functioning supports both conscious and unconscious thought processes. With this newfound knowledge, we are beginning to understand the power of unconscious bias and its impact on behavior, decision-making and interpersonal dynamics. It is important for coaches to be knowledgeable about unconscious bias, since its impact--and fallout—is part of our daily life.

At the Coaching in Leadership and Healthcare Conference offered by Harvard Medical School, thought leaders from around the world share cutting edge coaching science and practice. In addition to keynotes, the conference offers six tracks in two days with focus areas on Leadership, Positive Psychology, Health & Wellness, Advanced Practice, Research Symposium and Special Topics.

In our Leadership Forum series, we offer our Fellows intimate conversations with CEOs and Business Leaders from diverse industries. These events are exclusive to Fellows and provide attendees with the opportunity to learn firsthand what short and long term challenges business leaders and organizations are facing.

In our webinars, members get to experience "the Conference that Never Ends." Our community of coaches get to interact directly with our Conference faculty who share even more of their thinking and expertise. These complement our Web MasterClasses that allow you to take your practice to the next level.
