Webinar: Unleashing the Power of Liminal Space

Lighthouse with massive wave crashing into it
March 9, 2021 - 11:30am to 1:00pm

In our current environment, most individuals and organizations have been thrust into a period of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.  Faced with this sea of disruption, human nature compels us to move as quickly as possible through these periods of discontinuity, simply to reach the perceived safety on the other side. But what if there is another way?  What if this unique circumstance is an opportunity to fundamentally influence the trajectory of our teams and organizations and even ourselves personally?

In this highly interactive discussion, Rick Simmons, CEO, the telos institute, will provide coaches the framework to work with clients and leaders to help them realize the incredible potential of these uncertain times.  At telos, we use the term “liminal space” to define periods of discontinuity that create an openness to change, much like the environment many of us find ourselves in today. Utilizing real-life examples of when liminal space was best managed for transformative results, the discussion will highlight effective methods to facilitate the journey to successfully capture the power of liminality.

Coaches will come away with a better understanding of:

  • Why these periods are so ripe with opportunity
  • How to best leverage key points of inflection
  • How to thoughtfully trigger and curate these moments on your own
