Research Studies: Call for Participants

2023 Global Research Study

Professor Jonathan Passmore, Henley Business School, invites your participation in the 2023 Global Research study. This year the focus is on exploring attitudes towards topics such as Digital Coaching, AI and Coaching Ethics, as well as finding out about day-to-day practices in 2023.

This 2023 study is your opportunity to share your views on key topics facing the coaching industry today. The results will help us in the coaching profession to better understand these emerging themes and shape policy and professional development. This is a collaborative project and draws together multiple organizations and individuals from professional bodies like EMCC, coach training schools, universities and coaching companies. But to get the best insights we need your support.

The questionnaire is anonymous. The survey will not ask for your name, email or similar data.

We hope to be able to share the results with you later in the year, as well as a copy of the report.

The research questionnaire is in two parts:

  1. Part 1 takes around 14 minutes,
  2. Part 2 taking a further 12 minutes

The second part of the research goes into more depth on the key questions.

ADHD Coaching for Adults

This study will be looking at outcomes of 12-sessions of a coaching engagement with adult clients (not college students) who have ADHD, as well as explore client perspectives on ADHD coaching. Coaches will recruit interested clients and will document the coaching process. Clients will complete surveys prior to the coaching and after the coaching engagement and will participate in a focus group or interview at the end of the engagement as well.

We are looking for coaches who meet the following criteria, and who would be willing to recruit new adult clients for participation:

  • Completed a minimum of 25-35 hours ADHD-specific coach training
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of ADHD-specific coaching experience
  • Hold an International Coaching Federation credential (ACC, PCC, MCC)
  • Willing to recruit new adult client for the study
