Webinar: How do coaching strategies utilizing positive psychology and coaching psychology compare? Is one better than the other?

In this webinar, IOC Harnish Research Grant recipient Suzy Green shares exciting details about one of the first evidence-based coaching interventions ever studied that compares a positive psychology and a goal-driven approach with adolescents in a school context. This research is particularly useful given the emergence of Positive Education (Seligman, 2009) where coaching is still not fully accepted as a potential “amplifier” of positive psychology interventions e.g gratitude, strengths (Green & O’Connor, 2017).  Suzy presents the original Harnisch research findings together along with two recent case studies from school and organisational settings, highlighting how these two approaches can be combined  to enhance individual, team and organisational flourishing. She also offers five practical recommendations for the use of positive psychology and evidence-based coaching interventions in schools or other organisational settings.
