Ashley Stephenson is a Senior Advisor with Egon Zehnder’s Sydney office. He returned from New York in 2012 where he led the Leadership Consulting Practice in North America.
Ashley’s deepest experience, over the last 15 years, has been with reviewing, assessing and helping define development priorities for very senior executives. Many of these have been with global organisations and they have often been associated with prospective transitions to chief executive roles within the medium term. He led Egon Zehnder’s leadership consulting practice globally and, through that process, has assessed, given feedback and supported development for over 1000 senior executives around the world. More recently, he complimented this experience with specific training as a leadership coach and completed the highly regarded Georgetown Program in Washington DC. As a result he now coaches senior corporate executives particularly those with aspirations to take on senior roles at the C suite level. His passion lies with helping talented executives realise new possibilities for themselves.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Ashley was a Partner with McKinsey & Company working in both the Sydney and Madrid offices. Previously he worked at the World Bank in Washington focusing largely on Latin America. He has also recently completed the Master Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University. His coaching approach aims to combine these experiences in a way that provides unique insight and perspective for his clients.
Ashley has been designated as a Fellow of the Institute of Coaching.
