Sapna Welsh is the Founding Partner of Leverage HR, where connection is at the heart of everything they do, because it is crucial for performance in the workplace. They are committed to developing authentic connections with their clients to develop tailored approaches to developing leaders and crafting inclusive cultures with an impact focus.  For over 15 years, Sapna has ensured that Leverage HR is intentionally diverse by design with experienced, credentialed consultants who can deliver solutions in five languages.  She has led Talent Development roles with JPMC, Nationwide, Deloitte, and e-Bank.  Sapna builds on her own various professional transitions ranging from corporate to dot.com to entrepreneur; and from domestic to international, to train and coach countless leaders and consult with notable Fortune 500, public sector and non-profit clients. 

The red thread that runs throughout her career is a commitment to cultivating diversity in leadership. She was recognized for this dedication by Inc. Magazine, “Best in Business” in the category for Coaching & Career Development (2023), an “Enterprising Women” 2023 award winner, an “Outstanding Diversity Champion” by Columbus Business First 2022 and was recognized among the “Top 20 Diversity and Inclusion companies 2022” by Manage HR magazine.  She has consulted and spoken on the topic of talent development and women’s leadership, her specialty, at various conferences, panels & workshops in the US and Europe including PMI Development Conference, TEDx (Southlake Salon & individual), DHL WISC conference, AIG Japan women’s ERG, and AACE conference. Relative to her specialty, she has authored articles included in Huffington Post, SHRM Global HR Trends, and T&D Magazine. Recognized as a thought leader in women’s leadership development with one international research study and two books including Women Leaders – The Power of Working Abroad (2019) and Worldly Women – The New Leadership Profile (2013).

Sapna holds a Master of Labor and Human Resources from OSU, a BBA from The George Washington University, licensure in HR and Coaching, and certification in various assessment tools. She currently serves on the Boards of Family Mentor Foundation, NC4K, and Leadership Westerville. She is the proud mother of three and committed to her family, community, and profession.
