Susana is a writer, poet, transformational life & leadership coach, and trauma-informed resilience practitioner. Susana is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), ICF Mentor Coach, and Certified Facilitator of The Resilience Toolkit. Her coaching has led to client successes including greater confidence, clarity, direction, and purpose, more effective decision making, improved team relationships, and “leading the way [they] always imagined.” Her four innate superpowers are insight, empathy, humor and problem solving. Descended from a long line of oddballs and creatives, she’s both artist and scientist, and a big picture thinker with an eye for detail.

Susana’s first career was in diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and leadership development, where she spent nearly 30 years garnering meaningful results for employers and clients as an internal subject matter expert, organizational leader, and external consultant. She worked across the U.S. and abroad in multiple sectors including nonprofit, corporate, healthcare, education and government.

A native of Los Angeles, Susana holds degrees from UCLA and University of New Mexico. Fluent and literate in Spanish, she held a university position in Guadalajara, Mexico, and was the co-founder and first Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for University of New Mexico Hospitals (UNMH). Shortly after she left, UNMH was recognized as one of the Top 10 Hospital Systems by DiversityInc, and a Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality. For twenty years, she was the President of Susana Rinderle Consulting, LLC, and is a former Principal Consultant for Korn Ferry in the leadership development practice.

Susana is a former TEDx speaker, and her articles have appeared in Workforce Magazine, The Huffington Post, TLNT.com, ERE.net, Diversity Executive, American Diversity Report, Training Magazine, and Medium as well as academic journals.
