Joy Beatty, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Her published research focuses on chronic illness, disability, gender, and diversity. She and her co-authors, Alyssa McGonagle and Rosalind Joffe, received a 2012 grant from the Institute of Coaching for their research on a chronic illness workplace coaching intervention. She serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Education and Organization Management Journal, and on the editorial boards of two additional management journals.
