Ajay is an Entrepreneurial business leader & Leadership coach with 30 years of experience in large corporates & start-ups. His coaching and mentoring approach blends his CXO experience of large Corporations like HDFC, and Shopper Stop with founder experience of new age Digital Analytics organizations like Hansa Cequity.

Ajay’s coaching style is a unique blend of his life as an entrepreneur and CXO along with inputs from areas such as Non-violent communications, Behavioural science, and Appreciative Inquiry. He blends this with his learnings from Running and the outdoors having completed half and full marathons in a few countries.

Ajay served till recently on the Board of Hansa Cequity. He currently serves as a Trustee & member of the Board at an NGO, called  Antarang.

Ajay is also a Partner at Reflexion, a leadership consulting company that uses Coaching & behavioral science to help enhance leadership capabilities.

Ajay brings in his hands-on business leadership insights, with the curiosity and vision of a new-age start-up founder in his Coaching and Mentoring work. His Leadership Coaching supports senior leaders to find their next breakthrough and equips them to develop the ability to find a pattern in a random business world. He creates an opportunity for exploration for clients through deep listening and empathetic challenging.

Ajay has varied experience of being a CXO & an entrepreneur:

·       As the CMO of HDFC bank, he built Analytics & Marketing technology capacity for the bank and helped grow net profits by more than 20%. Ajay helped create analytics leadership for the bank & led the change management for the transformation of the bank.

·       As the Chief Marketing Officer of Shoppers’ Stop, he helped scale the company to 25 stores from 3 stores.

·       Ajay’s pioneering analytics venture Hansa Cequity which he co-founded in 2007 & scaled up by attracting private equity for growth. He has coached and mentored  an 800 people strong organization with a multimillion-dollar revenue

Ajay has served on the Innovation & Artificial intelligence advisory board of Wiley, the US-based publishing organization. Ajay is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has international accreditation to administer Hogan and Lumina SPARK and is trained in Transactional Analysis. Ajay is an associate Board member of the International Mentoring Association (IMA), which is a US-based industry association.

Ajay is a passionate runner & Trekker in the Himalayas. He is also a TED X speaker!
