Alex is a former senior investment banker with expertise in advising large organisations on complex strategic transactions. His 25 year banking career with Citigroup, HSBC and JP Morgan saw him work across a broad range of sectors with deep experience working with clients in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. 

His journey in banking saw him advise some of the world's largest corporations, institutions and governments through multiple financial crises and many major market disruptions. During his career he developed a unique portfolio of M&A, strategic advisory and capital market experience in diverse sectors including Natural Resources, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Technology, Communications, Consumer, Industrials and Financial Institutions. 

Alex is a seasoned and versatile leader with significant successes nurturing multi-cultural teams and building class-leading platforms. Igniting and empowering talent is a core passion which has seen him repeatedly turbo-charge latent talent in individuals and teams as a skilled leader and coach.

Alex is currently studying Artificial Intelligence and certifying as an executive coach with Meyler Campbell.  His deepest professional passions are stimulating personal growth and exploring new technology, he frequently advises on these areas and is working on related writing projects with a focus on the nexus between emotional intelligence and AI. 

Alex is a long-term meditator and avid explorer of ancient and holistic spiritual practices to deepen self-understanding and navigate a purpose-lead life.
