Angela Lifsey has extensive experience leading and developing coaching, mentoring, and talent acquisition programs. A coach since 2004, she has been helping leaders excel through transitions and significant change.

A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and a Center for Credentialing and Education Board Certified Coach (BCC), her diverse roster of coaching clients comes from a variety of organizations and industries, including pharmaceutical; technology; higher education; national nonprofit; commercial and public media; public health research, and global relocation.

As the Director of Career Development and Internal Mobility at Harvard University, Angela oversees the implementation of career development programs and initiatives offered by the Center for Workplace Development. When she initially joined Harvard in 2011, she led the efforts to develop effective talent acquisition strategies that identify and acquire top-tier talent for Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Before that, she worked in public television for several years, holding senior leadership positions in corporate communications, human resources, and national program promotion. Angela served as the primary company spokesperson, managed a fast-paced press office, and was a lead advisor on company-wide inclusion initiatives.

She has facilitated workshops and talks on numerous topics, including emotional intelligence, authentic leadership, resilience for HR professionals, career strategies, leading as an introvert, living through values, and reinventing retirement.

She is certified as a Social+ Emotional Intelligence Coach through the Institute of Social+ Emotional Intelligence (Denver). Angela holds learning certificates in BetterUp Conscious Business Coaching, Search Inside Yourself Mindfulness training, Positive Psychology and EQ, and the Science of Happiness. She has a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Emerson College (Boston) and professional certificates from the Institute on Corporate Community Relations and the Center for Creative Leadership. As a certified coach, Angela adheres to the code of ethics outlined by the International Coach Federation and the Center for Education and Credentialing.

A Cambridge resident (raised in NYC), Angela is passionate about science, music, and the arts and volunteers her time mentoring early career professionals and new coaches.
