Hi, I'm Cheryl Lewis-Thurab. I'm a Speaker, Leadership & Empowerment Coach, and Virtual Business Strategist. I work with individuals, solopreneurs and organizations across a broad spectrum of industries. I adopt a holistic approach to coaching by meeting each individual at their point of need. I empower my clients to reach their fullest potential by utilizing strong critical thinking skills, to bring clarity to complex situations and get through their F.O.G. (Fears, Obligation, Guilt).

I am a certified Career Counsellor, Life Skills Coach, and Leadership Facilitator. My background includes work in both corporate and non-profit industries. I have extensive experience in Public Speaking, Workshop Facilitation, Fundraising, Events Management and Community Engagement.

I have spoken at events across Canada and the Caribbean, and have appeared on radio, television, print and online media. These include CP24 News, CTV News, CBC Radio, Mediation Station, Toronto Star Newspaper, Toronto Caribbean Camera Newspaper, The Scarborough Mirror. As an advocate for women's health and through my work with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation I have been featured in The Rear-view Mirror and Road Today magazines, as well as several campus newspapers, such as University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), University of Windsor, University of Waterloo and Durham College.

Over the years, I have given back to the community through my involvement on several Boards and committees. I am an advocate for diversity, equity and Inclusion, and a champion for disability, mental health and women’s health. My interest in advocacy and building a strong community led me to enter the race for City Councillor in the 2018 Toronto Municipal Elections.

Despite my diverse interests, I firmly believe in the power of work-life balance. I enjoy meditation, travelling and discovering new places.
