Elona is a seasoned consultant with over 19 years of experience working in Southern Africa, the UK, Canada and Ireland. She is a Master Coach (ABCCCP) and Registered Coach (COMENSA) where she sits on the  Research Portfolio Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Dinaledi Educational Coaching. 

Elona works full-time as an Entrepreneurial and Executive Coach and Business Development Specialist, helping professionals and organisations grow. She has worked with various organisations in the Small business development ecosystem and her current focus is working at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) as a facilitator, trainer, research associate and entrepreneurial coach working with SMMES.  She designs and provides bespoke training workshops as well as one-to-one & group coaching programs that enhance personal mastery, SMME development and team cohesion. Her passion is helping people see endless possibilities in the global business market. Her dream is to inspire more people in emerging markets to excel in their businesses and professions.

Elona is a seasoned academic in her field. She currently lectures at the TSIBA Business School Postgraduate Diploma module (Applied Coaching and Mentoring). Additionally, she is a part-time lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and a Research Associate. She is currently a PhD Candidate with a focus on Entrepreneurial  Coaching and Entrepreneurship. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management (with a focus on small businesses in emerging markets) from Liverpool University (UK), an Advanced Diploma in Life, Executive and Business Coaching from LECI (Ireland), BCom (Hons) Industrial Psychology from the University of Western Cape as well as a BSocSci (Labour Studies, Organisational Psychology and HR Management) from the University of Cape Town.

She has coached executives and senior managers from the US Embassy in Ireland, ABSA, Nedbank, Engen, City of Cape Town, GEMS, Amandla EduFootball, Fetola, PHRU, Department of Health, MedScheme, Polmed,  Vodacom, Wits Executive Education, Transnet, SAB (Mozambique), Department of Public Works, Cornerstone Institute, PWC.
