French born and a United States citizen living in New York since 1991, Jean Claude is the founder of Atrium Consulting LLC in New York, a Senior Associate at the Kets de Vries Institute  in London, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. He is also a member of the accreditation review team at Brussels-based EQUIS. As community-scientist at Mount Sinai Hospital Tisch Cancer Institute in New York, his interest is on the psychosocial aspects of cancer research, with the objective to reduce disparities in access to cancer care.

As Adjunct Clinical Professor at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, San Francisco) he focused on Leadership Development and Group Coaching within Entrepreneurship/Family Enterprises and Organizational Behavior.  He obtained a Master in Consulting and Coaching with Honors from HEC Paris and the International Diploma in Consulting and Coaching for Change (Clinical Organizational Psychology) from INSEAD. He also completed a Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis, Society and Culture at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis (BGSP).

He has a global corporate background at Board level with Hilton International (VP Western Europe and Africa and SVP The Americas), TNT (SVP Asia Pacific/Middle East Africa and The Americas as well as Corporate VP Mergers and Acquisitions for TPG) and Christie's International PLC as Group COO. In these various capacities he had overall business responsibility for large business units and was CEO of a number of subsidiaries. He remains involved as Operating Partner for Global Leisure Partners based in London.

He is a member of the McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School Institute of Coaching, the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO).
